The move to the digital classrooms post

Hey blog world. On Monday morning it was an exciting day because the senior syndicate were moving into the new classrooms. We had our local MP Michael Wood come and cut the ribbon. He also came and talked to us about how he was really excited because this new building was a new place for the seniors to work together and learn more. The kapa haka group performed tutero mae and E hono re.  We as a school sang Aotearoa and warm pacific greetings. Then after the ribbon was cut and the building was officially opened we took our shoes off and walked inside. The government owns the building, and we aren’t allowed to wear shoes inside because they don't want the new mats to get dirty. When we went inside something that was creative was we got all different types of furniture. After we checked them out we went into our maori named classes. My class is Waitemata and the other two are Manukau and Hauraki. I've learnt thruoghout the week to work with different people whether or not I like them. I don’t like how I have to get used to more noise than before now. But I’ll just have to get used to it. I like how we can work wherever we want now. Manukau is the quiet space and the rest is for when you want to talk about our learning or when you're in a group talking about ideas. I feel sad that I left the old Room 7. But i’m happy that I get to come into the digital classrooms. I’m really nervous about starting a new educational life in these buildings. But it’ll be fine. I’ll still try my best. Heres some photos of Monday. I hope you liked this post. Please feel free to comment.
