Cybersmart digital footprint
Today Gerhard came in for cybersmart. We learnt more about our digital footprint. Gerhard copied some of his history and pasted it into wordcloud. We saw what he used online the most and leats by the sizes. If the words were huge Gerhard used those websites the most. If they were small he didn't use those websites that much. We talked about how he does his personal and how that personal stuff didn't come up on his history because it was his work account. He said that he only went on things that were relevant to work and his own private account was used for his personal stuff. He said that he promised to do only things related to work on his work account. I made a thinglink about the other things that we did and asked. I also added a video in it. I also added a word cloud of my history. Hope you enjoy. Please feel free to comment.

The move to the digital classrooms post
Hey blog world. On Monday morning it was an exciting day because the senior syndicate were moving into the new classrooms. We had our local MP Michael Wood come and cut the ribbon. He also came and talked to us about how he was really excited because this new building was a new place for the seniors to work together and learn more. The kapa haka group performed tutero mae and E hono re. We as a school sang Aotearoa and warm pacific greetings. Then after the ribbon was cut and the building was officially opened we took our shoes off and walked inside. The government owns the building, and we aren’t allowed to wear shoes inside because they don't want the new mats to get dirty. When we went inside something that was creative was we got all different types of furniture. After we checked them out we went into our maori named classes. My class is Waitemata and the other two are Manukau and Hauraki. I've learnt thruoghout the week to work with different people whether or not I like them. I don’t like how I have to get used to more noise than before now. But I’ll just have to get used to it. I like how we can work wherever we want now. Manukau is the quiet space and the rest is for when you want to talk about our learning or when you're in a group talking about ideas. I feel sad that I left the old Room 7. But i’m happy that I get to come into the digital classrooms. I’m really nervous about starting a new educational life in these buildings. But it’ll be fine. I’ll still try my best. Heres some photos of Monday. I hope you liked this post. Please feel free to comment.

My Narrative Writing
Narrative
In Room 7 we did a narrative for our e-astle. We picked any topic we wanted and wrote about it. We were told to be creative and make it up. We put it into a docs by copying and pasting it from slides. Heres my writing. Please feel free to comment.

Digital Foot Print post
DIGITAL FOOT PRINT
This year in Room 7 we have a new cyber smart teacher. His name is Gerrard. Today he came in and tought us about our digital foot print. We watched a video about our digital foot print. One fact is that your digital foot print is your history online. We took screenshots of our favourite blog in all of Mt Roskill. We did a drawing of who can view that blog. Here is my drawing.
